so team, I am trying to do something a little different this week. I have always admired caricaturists. I think being able to identify those traits that make a person who they are is a very special gift. I am particularly fond of Steve Brodner. Anyway, for one of the chapters of my masters thesis I wanted to do a little series of caricatures, and so here are some initial sketches I am toying with. I wanted to have a contest wherein I would promise an amazing prize to whoever is first to correctly guess the five celebrities Im trying to caricature here, but since this blog averages about o.15 comments per post, I think that might come off a little sad.

Nice! I've been trying to study caricature lately too. I tried a few years ago and had developed a portfolio of editorial-style celebrity caricature, but it went nowhere. So now I'm going for live-caricature... hopefully hit the streets next summer! Keep posting!
