Album Art for Miss Teresa Reynolds

I was asked to do some packaging art for a soon to be released single for Teresa Reynolds of WCP Comedy
I did 3 variations, working with type around two different illustrations.  The first illustration is a somewhat psychedelic watercolor/gouache.  Because this is a music project I wanted to pay homage to classic Rolling Stone illustration
this one being my favorite.  I don't know if Teresa has the name recognition to pull off having most of her name obscured by her face, but I still think it is the most successful illustration and design

this one is nice too because it shows the textures and effects achieved by the watercolor

and this was also fun because it reminds me of my beloved Donny Miller and also takes me back to when I was an uncomplicated wee lad listening to Weezer

The Lexington Hotel

Hello team
yesterday, me and some of my compatriots from Sleep No More were brought on to perform for the grand opening of The Lexington Hotel's new renovations (the walls in the lobby and mezzanine were lavishly illustrated in a stylized art deco fashion by Ruben Toledo, who is such a nice man and I do so adore his work)
I played the part of the handsome moody artist, live-sketching the event in period costume.  My little wife Ginger was a flapper, as was Teresa Reynolds. My other wife Lindsay Naas played the movie star

Dr Sketchys!

how silly of me
how on earth could I forget to mention that while I was home in Michigan for Wolfpack Weekend V (and to get Rosalita spayed) I went to Vivacious Miss Audacious Dr Sketchys at Rez lounge in Grand Rapids, MI
the model was a charming drag queen from E. Lansing named Ace DeVille
