new S.P.

I'm updating the website and I wanted to do a quick self doodle for the "about" page

neon drag queens

one of the estimable characters in Heartworms is a drag comedian named Helena.

so the other day I blew rather a lot of money on neon gouache to draw a chapter about Helena with

some ickle little drawings

for a chapter from Heartworms about the sweet but oh-so-naive Luz Ortega

zoo doodles

on friday we went to the Bronx zoo to draw aminals.

some of the little guys were more cooperative posers than others. I spent most of the time in the world of birds building

Jess- now improved

so my other portrait of Jess was fairly tragic but I was on my way out the door to Costa Rica and told it had to be done before I left

blessedly, there was still some time when I got back home so I have redone the portrait and I am now much happier with what will be sent out

there remains some debate as to what exact color the color layer will ultimately be . . .

a few weeks back we did some sketching at essex market on the lower east side

i didnt post them before now simply because IM BUSY PEOPLE LAY OFF ME
